You are invited to join a community group hosted by Stacy and Laura Peterson. The group will enjoy light snacks, watch an episode of The Chosen, and then compare the New Testament stories with the events depicted. The goal is to gain a better appreciation of how Jesus impacted those around Him when He was on this earth, and how He still impacts us today as we watch the story and read parts of the Gospels together.You are invited to join a community group hosted by Stacy and Laura Peterson. All are welcome at the Petersons house from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings , June 19, 26, and July 3, 17, and 31.
A note to parents: This group is open to families with kids of all ages. Parents, here are a few expectations that will be helpful to you as you consider if this group is a good fit for your family.
1. There is no childcare. Kids that come will be joining the group for the episode and the discussion.
2. The Chosen is great but not made specifically for kids. Parents should preview the content to ensure it is appropriate for their children.
